A conference with overseas speakers and an international audience

A 300-person blockchain conference. Korean and overseas speakers take the stage in turns, and 30% of the audience speaks English or Japanese. An interpreter costs about ₩800,000 per session, and two overlapping talks mean two of them. With barotalk you book none, and captions run simultaneously on the LED screen and attendees' phones.

From setup to wrap-up

01

Setup

  • Collect the five speakers' slide decks in advance → upload the PDFs to barotalk
  • Confirm the glossary (RWA → Real World Asset, Ondo Finance → keep as-is)
  • Enter the operator code on the stage laptop → connect the mic → start captions
  • For the LED screen, open the screen URL on the venue laptop → full screen
  • Attendees scan the QR → captions on their own phone, with a language of their choice
02

During the event

  • The operator watches the captions and clicks any awkward line once → it takes effect from the next caption
  • Speakers just talk as they normally would
03

After the event

  • A report by email within 10 minutes
  • Download the full caption transcript in four languages
  • Top 3 questions summarized
