barotalk is a real-time caption interpretation tool that a blockchain and fintech media company built for its own events. At our weekly conferences and meetups, whenever a Korean speaker took the stage, international attendees had to wait on an interpreter or sit through talks they couldn't follow. So we started building our own.
It began as a single line of OpenAI Realtime. Patching the technical terms that came out awkward at every event, one line at a time, turned into a habit of teaching the terminology in advance — and that term learning is now the thing barotalk does best.
As more outside organizers asked to use the same tool, we spun it off as a SaaS. Try it yourself first, and pay when it proves useful. The refund process is simple, too.
